Welcome to our website!

The Department of Intercultural Philosophy of Religion (IKRPH) is one of eight departments within the Faculty of Catholic Theology (KTF) at the University of Vienna. It represents the field of philosophy within the faculty’s curriculum. Until 2019, it was named the Department of Christian Philosophy.
The department is currently undergoing a period of transition in terms of staffing, after the retirement of Prof. Hans Schelkshorn and end of contract of Dr. Sandra Lehmann. 
Starting in the fall of 2026, an expanded team will shape and work at the department.
