Exams

  • For exam dates, see U:FIND.
  • Exam registration via U:SPACE: at the KTF 21–7 days in advance. Withdrawal up to 2 days in advance.
  • Oral exams: additional booking of a time slot in TEMPUS, 6–2 days in advance. Please deregister from the exam in both U:SPACE and TEMPUS.
  • 4 exam dates per course (in accordance with the University of Vienna Statutes): the first at the end of the semester, three in the following semester—roughly at the beginning, in the middle, and at the end. Sometimes at the beginning or end of the vacation period (February / July / September).
  • Unexcused absence: If you are absent from the exam without an excuse, you will be graded “Did not take the exam.” This results in a suspension from the next exam date for the corresponding course. If necessary, you may cancel your registration at short notice via email.
