The Department of Intercultural Philosophy of Religion (IKRPH) is one of eight departments within the Faculty of Catholic Theology (KTF) at the University of Vienna. It represents the field of philosophy within the faculty’s curriculum. Until 2019, it was named the Department of Christian Philosophy.
The department iundergoing a period of transition in terms of staffing, after the retirement of Prof. Hans Schelkshorn and end of contract of Dr. Sandra Lehmann.
Since September 2026, University Professor Isabella Guanzini and Assistant Professor (tenure track) Sarhan Dhouib have joined the team.
A position for a postdoctoral research assistant is currently being advertised. A call for applications for a pre-doctoral research assistant position will be posted shortly.
