Studies
- There is no degree progamme for Intecultural Philosophy of Religion only.
- The subject of Philosophy is one of several disciplines and subjects of the bigger organisational unit, the Faculty of Catholic Theology with its various degree programmes like Catholic Theology diploma programme ("Fachtheologie"), Catholic Religious Education - Subject of instruction ("Lehramt" / "Unterrichtsfach"), (Catholic) Religious Education ("Religionspädagogik"), Master programme Advanced Theological Studies, and more.
- A lot of your courses are for students of other faculties and studies as well, mainly Philosophy and Ethics.
- The department of Intercultural Philosophy of Religion covers the highest amount of compulsory courses for the theological degree programmes. Therefore, not every course can be offered on a yearly bases, regarding the little number of teaching staff.
- You find an overview of all the courses offered by our department below.
- Please inform yourself of your version of curriculum ("Studienplanversion") of your degree programm at the respective Studies Service Center, and therefore of the courses and examinations that you need, as well as requirements for them! You also find informations for switching versions of curriculum on the homepage of the StudienServiceCenter of Catholic Theology.

U:SPACE Registration for courses
- Mandatory course registration via U:SPACE / U:FIND!
- This results in automatic registration in Moodle.
- For courses with examinations (seminars) there are separate registration deadlines and sometimes space restrictions, see U:FIND.
- Separate exam registration via U:SPACE, at the KTF 21-7 days before the exam date, deregistration up to 2 days before.
- For oral examinations, additional entry in TEMPUS time list 6-2 days before.
- Examination-immanent courses (seminars): Students who are absent from the first unit without excuse will be deregistered. If you do not deregister on time or cannot provide a credible reason for dropping out, you will be assessed, i.e. graded negatively due to lack of performance. You should therefore consider at the beginning of the semester if possible, but at the latest by the end of the deregistration period, whether you want to / can attend the seminar and whether you want to / can provide the corresponding performance. Cancelling a seminar in the middle of the semester is only possible in exceptional cases if there is a valid reason.
