The Department of Intercultural Philosophy of Religion
(formerly Christian Philosophy) represents the subject of Philosophy in the curriculum of the Faculty of Catholic Theology at the University of Vienna. The teaching of in-depth knowledge of philosophy is an essential aspect of the theological degree programmes and curricula, with a high proportion and variety of compulsory courses. In addition, many courses are also creditable for students of Philosophy, Ethics and other fields of study.
